254 Failure to provide information regarding charges and costs

If the trader has failed in her obligations with regard to providing certain charge and cost information1, then the consumer is not to bear those costs and charges2.

The ‘certain charge and costs information’ relates to the following3:

  1. 254.1

        additional delivery charges and other costs (or that they might be payable if cannot be ascertained in advance);

  2. 254.2

        costs per a billing period (if contract of an indeterminate duration or a subscription), or monthly costs if contract charged at a fixed rate; and

  3. 254.3
