(c) Off-premises contracts

246 Obligation on trader to provide information before consumer is bound by an off-premises contract

  1. 246.1

        Before the consumer is bound by an off-premises contract, the trader must:

    1. 246.1.1

          give the consumer the prescribed information1 in a clear and comprehensible manner; and

    2. 246.1.2

          if the customer has the right to cancel the contract, a specified cancellation form2 has been given to the consumer3.

  2. 246.2

        The prescribed information and the cancellation form must be legible. They should be provided on paper, though, if the consumer agrees, they may be provided in another durable medium4.
