212 Consumer contracts

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 Part 2 applies to contracts between traders and consumers1. The wording is not further explained or restricted, and is likely to apply all contracts between a trader and consumer.

Such contracts are known (under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 Part 2) as ‘consumer contracts’2.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 Part 2 does not apply to a contract of employment or apprenticeship3.
