194 When remedies not available

Most of the rights and remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 Part 1 Chapter 3 are not available in respect of digital content if it is not supplied (or will not be supplied) under a contract for a price1 paid by the consumer2.

However, if there is a contract for the trader to supply digital content to the consumer, but the digital content is not paid for by the consumer (whether directly or indirectly), the digital content is not completely excluded from all protection provided by the Consumer Rights Act 2015
