176.7 Time limit for short-term right to reject

The time limit to exercise the short-term right to reject is 30 days from all of the following having happened:

  1. 176.7.1

        ownership or possession of the goods has been transferred to the consumer;

  2. 176.7.2

        the goods have been delivered; and

  3. 176.7.3

        the goods have been installed by the trader (where the contract requires the trader to do so) and the trader has notified the consumer that installation has taken place1.

The period will be shorter for those goods which are reasonably expected to perish in a shorter period of time. Any shorter period
