176.2 How the right to reject is carried out

The consumer must indicate to the trader that she:

  1. 176.2.1

        is rejecting the goods; and

  2. 176.2.2

        is treating the contract at an end1.

The exercise of the right may be done by action or verbally (ie it is not confined to a written form of rejection). However, it must be clear enough so that the trader clearly understands that the consumer is rejecting the goods and bring the contract to an end2.
