175.5 Supply of material by consumer and conforming to a contract

If the goods fail to conform to a contract and the failure has its origin in materials that a client has supplied, this will not be a failure to conform to the contract for the purposes of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and therefore the remedies under the Act will not be available to the consumer1.
