174.2 Meaning of ‘conform to a contract’

For the purposes of determining whether the remedies are available, goods ‘conform to a contract’ where1:

  1. 174.2.1

        the goods are of satisfactory quality (Section 9);

  2. 174.2.2

        the goods are fit for a particular purpose (Section 10);

  3. 174.2.3

        the goods match any description given by a trader (Section 11);

  4. 174.2.4

        the goods match any sample (Section 13);

  5. 174.2.5

        the goods match any model seen or examined (Section 14);

  6. 174.2.6

        the goods are installed correctly (where the contract to supply goods includes installation by the trader (Section 15);
