159 Statutory rights in a contract to supply goods

A contract to supply goods is to include terms (subject to the qualifications set out below) as to the requirements the goods are to meet, that is:

  1. 159.1

        the goods must be of satisfactory quality (Section 91;

  2. 159.2

        the goods must fit for a particular purpose (Section 10)2;

  3. 159.3

        the goods must be as described (Section 11)3;

  4. 159.4

        the goods need to match any sample (Section 13)4;

  5. 159.5

        the goods need to match any model seen or examined (Section 14)5;

  6. 159.6

        the goods are installed correctly (where the contract
