156 Contracts for the transfer of goods

Under a contract for the transfer of goods the trader transfers (or agrees to transfer) ownership of goods to a consumer; and

  1. 156.1

        the consideration that the consumer provides (or agrees to provide) is something other than the payment of a price; or

  2. 156.2

        the contract is not, for some other reason, a sales contract or a hire-purchase agreement1.
