154 Contracts for the hire of goods

A contract for the hire of goods is one where:

  1. 154.1

        the trader gives (or agrees to give) a consumer possession of the goods;

  2. 154.2

        the consumer has the right to use the goods (subject to the terms of the contract);

  3. 154.3

        the period of use and possession is set out in the contract1.
