151 General application of the Consumer Rights Act 2015

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies to contracts between consumers and traders where the trader supplies goods, digital content or services1.

Which rights and remedies will apply to contract will depend on what the trader is supplying to the consumer2. If, for example, the trader is only supplying goods, then chapter 2 of Part 1 (which relates to goods) will apply.

If there is a mixed contract (eg a supply of goods and services), then each relevant chapter of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 Part 1 will apply3. For example, in a supply
