146 Preliminary

As noted above, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 is largely a consolidation measure, and has created for the first time within a single legislative measure provisions relating to the rights of, and (statutory) remedies available to, consumers concerning goods and services, as well as dealing with the effect of unfair terms and notices. It also, for the first time, explicitly recognises digital content1.
