        new: Meanings of defined words (including ‘consumer’ and ‘trader’1) aligned across various legislative measures to ‘facilitate easier interpretation and clearer application of the law’2 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 largely uses the same wording as the Consumer Rights Directive.

        new/modification: Explicit recognition that both the provisions relating to:
