129 Requirement to provide information1

The Provision of Services Regulations 2009 (‘2009 Regulations’) require the supplier of a service to provide certain information to actual or potential customers of those services. The information that the supplier needs to provide to a recipient of the services includes2:

  1. 129.1

        its legal status and where it is established;

  2. 129.2

        if registered ‘in a trade’ with a government/regulatory authority, then details of its registration (who it is registered with, a registration number, contact details of the body registered with etc). There are similar obligations concerning suppliers carrying out
