111.6 Where contract requires delivery to the buyer’s premises

If a seller is required under a contract to deliver to the buyer’s premises, the seller fulfils his obligation under the contract if he delivers, without negligence, to a person who has apparent authority to receive the goods1.

If in fact the person who has received the goods has no authority to receive the goods and that person misappropriates them the seller will not be in breach of his obligation.
