53 Determining whether a club is established and conducted in good faith

One of the general conditions that a club must satisfy if it is to be a qualifying club in relation to a qualifying club activity, and an application for a club premises certificate is to be successful, is that it is established and conducted in good faith as a club1. The Licensing Act 2003 provides for the test to be employed by the licensing authority to determine whether or not the condition is satisfied2.
