47 Authorisation for licensable activities and qualifying club activities

The Licensing Act 2003 provides for the circumstances in which licensable activities (which are not also qualifying club activities) may be carried out lawfully. These circumstances are either:

  1. 47.1

        under a premises licence granted under Part 31 of the Act;

  2. 47.2

        where the activity is a permitted temporary activity by virtue of Part 52 of the Act; or

  3. 47.3

        where the sale by retail of alcohol is a permitted sale by virtue of Part 5A of the Act3.
