44 The provision of regulated entertainment

The provision of regulated entertainment is also a ‘licensable activity’ under the Licensing Act 20031. Subject to the activities excluded by virtue of Section 1(7) and Sections 173 to 175 of the 2003 Act2 the provision of regulated entertainment includes activities falling within a number of descriptions. However, these activities are subject to exemptions set out in Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the 2003 Act and the interpretation provisions of Part 3 of that Schedule.
