40.4 Part 6

Part 6 of the Licensing Act 20031 provides for a concept unknown under the superseded Licensing Act 1964, the ‘personal licence’. A personal licence is granted by a licensing authority to an individual and authorises that individual to supply alcohol2, or authorise the supply of alcohol, in accordance with a premises licence3.
