40 The arrangement of provisions under the Licensing Act 2003

40.1 Part 1

Part 1 of the Licensing Act 20031, together with Schedules 1 and 2, identifies the licensable activities and qualifying club activities with which the legislation is concerned2. This Part provides for three types of authorisation under which licensable activities and qualifying club activities may be carried on: premises licences3, club premises certificates4, temporary event notices5 and community and ancillary sellers notices6.
