31 Dissolution

In the case of a proprietary club there is no need for dissolution to be provided for specifically in the rules. The proprietor generally has an obligation to provide services and amenities in return for a member’s subscription so that when the period for which a subscription was paid expires the proprietor’s obligation ceases and he may wind up the club by refusing to accept a further subscription to renew the contract of membership.
