16 Aerial application certificate

An aircraft may not be used for the dropping of articles for the purpose of agriculture, horticulture or forestry (ie crop spraying and water dropping) or for training for the dropping of articles for any of those purposes unless the operator holds an aerial application certificate granted by the Civil Aviation Authority1.
