3 Equitable interests

Many of the precedents contained within this title concern dealings with equitable interests; this title, however, is not concerned with their creation1. Inevitably, dealings with some types of equitable interests occur more often than others, and this is reflected in the preponderance of precedents dealing with sales of interests under strict settlements2 and trusts.
