2 Scope of title

This title does not deal with the majority of the types of personal property described as choses in action, but only with such of them as do not conveniently fall within other titles devoted to particular forms of incorporeal property. Thus, for example, copyright, goodwill, mortgage debts and patents are dealt with generally in other titles1.
