72 Discretionary disqualification

In addition the Commission may by order1 disqualify a person from being a charity trustee, trustee for a charity or from holding an office with senior management functions in a charity2 for up to 15 years in various circumstances including3:

  1. 72.1

        being convicted abroad of an offence against a charity which would carry automatic disqualification in this jurisdiction4;

  2. 72.2

        being responsible for misconduct or mismanagement of a charity of which the person is a trustee, officer, agent or employee5;

  3. 72.3

        knowing of misconduct or mismanagement in a charity
