48.2 Vesting of property in new trustees

A deed of appointment of trustees has the effect of vesting title to any land and buildings belonging to the charity in the new trustees1. Where, under the trusts2 of a charity, trustees of property held for the purposes of the charity may be appointed or discharged by resolution of a meeting of the charity trustees3, members or other persons, a memorandum4 declaring a trustee to have been so appointed or discharged is sufficient evidence of that fact if the memorandum is signed either at the
