44.3 Power to change purposes

The trustees of an unincorporated charity may resolve that the purposes of the charity should be modified by replacing all or any of them with other specified charitable purposes if they are satisfied that it is expedient in the interests of the charity to replace the purposes in question with similar purposes1. This applies to a charity2:

  1. 44.3.1

        whose gross annual income in its last financial year was not more than £10,000;

  2. 44.3.2

        which holds no land on trust for use for its own purposes; and

  3. 44.3.3

        which is neither
