13 Controls over names of charities which are companies

Where any direction to change the name of a charity is given to a charity which is a company, it shall have the effect of requiring the directors of the company to change the name by resolution1. Where the name of a charity is changed pursuant to any such direction, the registrar of companies must, if satisfied that the new name complies with Part 5 of the Companies Act 2006, enter the new name on the register of companies, in place of the former name, and shall issue
