71 Right to assistance at airports

By reason of Council Regulation (EC) 1107/2006, the managing body of the airport is responsible for ensuring that, when disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility arrive at the airport for travel by air, they receive assistance so that they are able to take the flight for which they hold a reservation1. This includes the assistance and arrangements necessary to enable disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility to2:

        communicate their arrival at an airport and their request for assistance at the designated points inside and outside terminal buildings;
