67 Obligation to inform passengers of their rightsCarriers are required to give passengers advance warning of their rights under Council Regulation (EC) 261/2004 by ensuring that, at check-in, that a notice is displayed stating: ‘If you are denied boarding or if your flight is cancelled or delayed for at least two hours, ask at the check-in counter or boarding gate for the text stating your rights, particularly with regard to compensation and assistance’1.Where a passenger is denied boarding, his flight cancelled or delayed by at least two hours, the carrier must provide each qualifying passenger2
