65 Right to care

The right to care comprises offering the passenger, free of charge:

  1. 65.1

        meals and refreshments in reasonable relation to the waiting time1;

  2. 65.2

        two telephone calls, telex or fax messages, or emails2;

  3. 65.3

        hotel accommodation in cases where3:

    1. 65.3.1

          a stay of one or more nights, or

    2. 65.3.2

          a stay additional to that intended by the passenger,

    becomes necessary;

  4. 65.4

        transport between the airport and the place of accommodation4.

In applying the requirements, the air carrier must pay particular attention to the needs of persons with reduced mobility
