4.3 Statutory provisions – business to business contracts

A carrier who is dealing with business customers as consignor or and consignee is regulated by the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, in particular Section 13 which provides that the service should be provided with reasonable professional care and skill. Such a carrier is also regulated by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
