15 Contracts for the carriage of passengers

The majority of contracts for the carriage of passengers in a public service vehicle (‘PSV’), taxi or private hire car will be one-off transactions. Where a passenger is carried in a PSV which is operating a regular service, whether a local or a long-distance service, a ticket will be issued. This ticket will normally make reference to the operator’s standard terms and conditions of service.
