95 Notices

The limited liability partnership (LLP) membership agreement, like any other commercial agreement, will usually contain provisions setting out how any notices required by the agreement are to be served and when they are to be deemed to take effect. It obviously makes sense to provide that any notice served on the LLP should be delivered or sent to its registered office1. In relation to notices to be served on a member of the LLP, it is usual to provide that these should be sent or delivered to his residential address as registered for the time being
