86 Effect of dissolution

The circumstances which may give rise to the dissolution of the partnership have already been considered1. Where a partnership dissolves, the authority of each partner to bind the firm ceases, except so far as it is necessary to wind up the affairs of the partnership, and to complete any transactions which had been begun but remained unfinished at the time of the dissolution. The same is true of the other rights and obligations of the partners2.
