The default code in the Partnership Act 1890 makes no provision for the holding of partnership meetings. The partners should therefore consider making express provision in the partnership agreement for example, it may be prudent to provide for partnership meetings to be held on a regular basis. This is particularly advisable if not all partners are involved in the business on a day-to-day basis, for instance because there are sleeping partners, or because a large number of executive decisions have been delegated to specialist partners.
