51 Statement of compliance

In addition to the memorandum of association, the application for registration and the supporting documents referred to above, the parties must also deliver a statement of compliance to the registrar, stating that the registration requirements of the Companies Act 2006 have been complied with1. The registrar is entitled to accept the statement of compliance as sufficient evidence of compliance2.

The statement of compliance does not need to be witnessed and may be made in paper or electronic form. Rules made by the Registrar of Companies specify the form of this statement and
