49 Supporting documents

49.1 Overview

In addition to the memorandum of association and the application for registration, the parties who wish to register the new company must also deliver certain other prescribed documents1. For a company limited by shares, the prescribed documents are as follows:

  1. 49.1.1

        a statement of capital and initial shareholdings2;

  2. 49.1.2

        a statement of the company’s proposed officers3;

  3. 49.1.3

        a statement of the intended address of the company’s registered office4; and

  4. 49.1.4

        a copy of any proposed articles of association, to the extent that these are not supplied
