46 Overview of the documents which must be provided

The documents required for registration under the Companies Act 2006 are substantially different from those which used to be required under the Companies Act 1985. Initially the wording of the Companies Act 2006 seems to suggest the opposite in that it provides that a company is formed under the Companies Act 2006 by one1 or more persons subscribing their names to a memorandum of association and complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 as to registration2.
