45 Buying a ready-made company

Ready-made or ‘off the shelf’ companies may be purchased from law stationers or company formation agents, which typically register a number of companies with different sets of articles1, using nominees to fill the positions of the subscribers and first officers of the company. They then stockpile these companies and supply any of these upon request, together with copies of the constitutional documents agreed by the subscribers, together with the other formation materials2.
