The content of the warranties has already been discussed. As well as warranting the truth and completeness of the warranties subject to the express disclosures in the disclosure letter, the seller will usually seek to limit his liability in respect of breach of the warranties in two ways, first of all by limiting the time in which notification of a claim may be made1, and second by limiting the total amount of claims which may be made for breach of warranty2.
