22.3 Roll-over relief

When a partnership sells a business asset, each of the partners may, in the same way as a sole trader, be able to claim roll-over relief where he or the partnership uses the proceeds of sale to reinvest in other business assets1. Whether an individual partner decides to claim the benefit of roll-over relief is a matter for him to decide.
