145.5 The servicing of the investment

Where the business is applying for loan funding, the business plan should include details of how much funding the business needs to raise and for what purpose. The plan should go on to describe how much is required in the form of a fixed-term loan, and how much in the form of an overdraft facility, and when the finance is needed.

The plan must then put forward evidence to convince the lender that the business will be able to repay the principal within the loan period and to pay any interest and charges, even if
