Having considered the business’s needs for finance, and decided what type of finance to use, the proprietors must now put together the formal business plan, explaining in detail their strategy for developing the business successfully. Most lenders and investors will wish to see the plan, and a very large part of their decision as to whether or not to finance the business will be based upon it.
