119.4 Completion

If the sale is to go ahead, a completion date is fixed on which the transferor transfers the shares and then is paid the price. The pre-emption procedure usually provides for the eventuality of the transferor refusing to complete the necessary paperwork by appointing the company as the transferor’s agent for this purpose.
