4.2 Application for cremation

No cremation may take place unless an application has been made to the cremation authority by an executor of the deceased person or a near relative who has attained the age of 161. The application must contain the information in the prescribed form2, which depends on whether the cremation is of a body, body parts, or a stillborn child3, and be signed by the applicant.
