75 The officers

The officers1 of a building society are its directors, of whom there must be at least two (one being appointed chairman of the board of directors)2, its chief executive3, its secretary4 and any manager of the society5. In addition every building society must have auditors6. A building society may appoint other persons as officers of the society (for example, members of a local or regional board) if its rules so provide7.
