69.2 Borrowing members’ resolutions

A borrowing members’ resolution is required by the Building Societies Act 1986 in connection with mergers and transfers of business1. No resolution which is not required, either by or under the Building Societies Act 1986 or by the rules of the particular building society, to be passed as a borrowing members’ resolution, may be passed as a borrowing members’ resolution2.
