68 Declarations in voting papers

If a member of a building society who purports to exercise his right to vote in a postal ballot, or to vote on a poll at a meeting of the society, fails to make the required declaration1 on the voting paper, the vote cast by him is invalid2. A building society must secure that every document issued by it for use as a voting paper incorporates a form of declaration for completion by the member using it3.
